The Champlin Collection includes a Bf-109E, ok, not a real 109E, but a hybrid replica. Years ago the museum was searching for a 109 to add to its collection. After searching high and low, without success, a Spanish built HA-112 was purchased. A original engine was located, and mated to the fuselage. Other modifications were made to better make it resemble a Bf-109E. Click on the thumbs below to check out the "hybrid" Bf-109.
