This is the Screamin rebox of the Kaiyodo 1/6 Vinyl Stormtrooper. I had this kit for years, partially built, stored in the bottom of a junk box. The first time around I had used a paint that was not compatible with the vinyl, and it remained tacky for years. I recently got around to striping all the paint, by soaking the parts in lacquer thinner. I then used a lacquer based primer to prime the parts.

 

The body glove was painted with a semigloss black, and then masked with a liquid masking agent. The white was automotive paint, airbrushed in several light coats, to build up enough paint to give it that heavy "plastic" look.

 

Somewhere along the ways, I either lost, or never got the left foot and leg. A fellow modeler "Batmaniak", was kind enough to loan a leg and foot, that I duplicated using RTV, and cast up my own replacements. It matched up pretty well.

All in all, a very easy kit to assemble and paint.
