This is the Screamin 1/4 Pinhead, sculpted by Thomas Kuntz. This was one of the fist kits I built many years ago. It was also an experiment in oils for the flesh areas.

As with most Screamin kits this one was in 2 pieces, an upper and lower torso. The puzzle box was borrowed from the 2nd Pinhead kit, as the one that came with this kit was a piece of crap plastic square with stickers for the sides.

The model was assembled, and the seam filled. It was the primed with Krylon white, and the base coating began. The leather done with black, and the flesh areas done with oils. The oils worked great for blending, and I was very pleased with the results, although they did take awhile to dry.

I was going to paint the eyes, but I cam across a picture where they had been blacked out, and though that gave him a much more sinister, and soul-less look. The leather was drybrused with blues and greys, and the torn flesh done with acrylics.

For being the 2nd kit I ever built, I feel it still stands up well.
