In the Spring of 2003, I had a chance to visit the Palm Springs Air Museum. Located on the outskirts of the airport, the museum has a fine collection of WWII aircraft, most of which are kept in flying condition. The PSAM is also home to the Bob Pond collection. I highly recommend visiting if you have a chance.
